Cookie Policy
Effective date: 21 September 2026
This page describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on lumosnetwork.online, published by MSMM-SOU s.r.o., Bělehradská 185/5, Nusle, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and then send back on subsequent requests, which lets a site recognise a returning browser. Cookies are used for genuinely necessary purposes such as keeping someone logged in, and also for purposes such as advertising and analytics that track behaviour across pages and across sites.
2. This site sets no cookies
Lumos Network sets no cookies of its own, and permits no third party to set cookies through it. That statement is complete and has no exceptions: there are no essential cookies, no preference cookies, no session identifiers, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies.
There is nothing on this site that would need them. There is no login, no account, no shopping basket, no saved preference and no personalisation. Nothing on the site changes according to who you are or whether you have visited before, and every reader is served the same pages.
The site also loads no third-party components that would set cookies on someone else's behalf. There is no analytics platform, no advertising network, no conversion or retargeting pixel, no A/B testing tool, no heat-mapping tool, no social media embed, no comment system, no chat widget, no video embed and no content delivery network. No external host is contacted when a page here is loaded, so no third party learns that you visited.
This is why you will not see a cookie banner on this site. A consent request exists so that a reader can permit or refuse cookies. With none to permit or refuse, a banner would be asking about something that does not happen, and a site that displays one anyway is making a false statement about itself.
3. No storage in your browser either
Cookies are not the only way a site can store or derive information. This site uses none of the alternatives. There is no use of local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or the Web SQL interface. There is no device or browser fingerprinting: no canvas fingerprinting, no font or plugin enumeration, and no script that measures your configuration in order to recognise you.
The only JavaScript running on this site is a single first-party file, served from this domain, which does two things: it opens and closes the navigation menu on small screens, and it expands and collapses accordion panels. It is short, it is not minified or obfuscated, and it can be read in full at /assets/main.js. It stores nothing and transmits nothing.
4. What is recorded instead
One thing is recorded, and it is not a cookie. The hosting provider that serves this website keeps ordinary server logs, as every web server does. Each entry records the requesting IP address, the browser's user agent string, the URL requested, the response status and the date and time of the request. These logs are produced by the server rather than by anything in the page, they cannot be disabled by refusing cookies because no cookie is involved, and they are used only for security and technical diagnostics.
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days and are then deleted or overwritten. Section 4 of the privacy policy sets out the retention position in full, and section 5 explains the cross-border disclosure that follows from the publisher being established outside Australia.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser anyway
Nothing on this site requires you to change any browser setting, but the controls exist regardless and are worth knowing about for the rest of the web. Every current browser lets you view the cookies stored on your device, delete them individually or all at once, block third-party cookies, block all cookies, and clear stored site data when the browser closes. The controls sit in the privacy or site-settings section of the browser's preferences, and browsers also offer a private or incognito window that discards cookies and site data when it is closed.
Blocking all cookies will break sites that genuinely need them, such as anything with a login. It will have no effect at all on this site, which will work exactly the same way.
6. If this ever changes
If cookies or any similar technology were ever introduced here, three things would happen before the first one was set: this page would be rewritten to describe each cookie, its purpose and its lifetime; the privacy policy would be updated to match; and a working consent mechanism would be in place, so that no non-essential cookie could be set before a reader agreed to it. The effective date at the top of this page would change accordingly.
Until that happens, this page says what it says because it is accurate: no cookies, no storage, no tracking, no banner.
7. Questions
Anything about this page can be raised with MSMM-SOU s.r.o. at info@lumosnetwork.online. If you believe something on this site sets a cookie, please say which page and what you observed, and it will be investigated and either corrected or explained.
